Quick and Easy Vegan Lunch.

0616181559.jpgSlap some Just Mayo onto your oat bread. Yes, the Vegans have their own, egg free mayo. And it's perfect. 💜

Slide a few slices of your favorite Tofurkey on there. We like Hickory Smoked because... Duh. Lol!

Some sliced almond cheese (Yup! Nut cheeses are a thing and they're WAY better than Daiya.), Alfalfa sprouts and some butter lettuce.

Throw some Vegan Sea Salt Veggie Straws on the side and you have a classic you grew up with. Totally delicious (my trio always want a second round) and guilt free. No animals killed or exploited for this meal. 💜

Simple, quick and delicious, no excuses. Go cruelty free.

I'm not a big fan of "meat imitations". But bread with majo and some chili or raw garlic and other vegetables ... that's yummy indeed.

Totally get that! Some of them are absolutely terrible! It took a lot of experimenting and trying things and cooking jn different ways before figuring out what we like.

And companies are getting better at it. Gardein has a Vegan breaded Tempeh, add some Tamari and Orange sauce and it has the taste and texture of orange chicken from the mall.

Some things are almost too realistic, like the Beyond Burger!

On a related note, we've just been to Sweden, and after a though journey we sat down in a pub for a while, there was the TV-set, and I was amused that there was a commercial for one of the Swedish producers of Swedish meatballs and Swedish "Falukorv" and other meat products. Most food commercials shows ... food, ready to eat, they are usually designed to make you feel hungry ... but this commercial showed ... cows! "Food made from local products" was the slogan. That's mildly amusing, one would expect that a meat-processing company doing commercials would not like people to actually think what the products are made from ... people are like just supposed to pick up the processed food from the supermarket without thinking too much.

Sounds like Arby's here. "We have the meats!"

And Chik-fil-A, they have animals on their sign.
