Hunger - Jacobite's Shows (Poetry)

I woke up,
Counting the ceilings,
Reminiscing on last night's dream.
My rumbling stomach was my muse,
It's rhythm led me to dreamland
Where food was bountifully present.
I ate to my full, and drank to my full,
But my salivating belly woke me up.

I lay down,
Wide awake on my laden bed.
It's been 24hours, since I last ate.
My head hurts, as much as my Tommy does,
I started seeing things in two's.
I could hear every heart beat of mine,
I could feel the current of my blood.
I was dwelling in darkness, at daytime.!

I stood up,
Seeking for a way out.
Ruminating on possible exit.
Should I storm the kitchen,
Or sit in silence walking to my end?
Should I visit a rich friend
Or sit in silence, walking to my end?
Should I pretend 'm okay,
And sit in silence, walking to my end?

I sat down,
Realizing 'm more lazy than hungry.
I'll dwell in my fantasies till manna falls
I'll drink water to bribe my belly.
And tell it tales about patience.
I'll lead it to bed with ballads,
And escort it to dream land.
Where we embrace our fantasies, till manna falls.
