A Noisy Mind

Imagine being in a sandstorm with heavy wind-borne dusts crashing on your face. Senses, overwhelmed. Am I shouting at you right now? Maybe, but this is exactly how noisy things are for me reading stuff online since 2016. These texts are literally shouting at the top of their lungs just to grab my attention and seize my mind. People are getting incredibly loud all over the Net these days. It may sound too much like an overstatement, but trust me, the entirety of information generated everyday is way, way mind-blowingly larger than this measly one-minute post. For scale, what you're reading now is only...

It will take you exactly 420 counts of leap-year rebirths with the conditional event that an apple fell on Sir Buddha's head during Nirvana, just to have enough time to chip off a tiny, tiny bit from the vast well of information. If you're thinking there's something wrong with me by now, I'm just saying that the cosmic background noise is getting more pronounced in each passing day. It's as if there's an unstoppable leak of information flowing in from another universe.

Sorry if I shouted at you.

Agree that is getting crazy noisy! Sometimes wish to leave it all, just as this photo says..

Hahah i bet 10 years down the road, anything that doesn't touch the Net will be extreme valuable stuff!

It is definitely not impossible! :D

I always believe in your writing.
I have a meeting right now and I will take a moment to look at it in detail.

Haha.. that's nice to hear :) and thanks for taking care of Steemit posts during a meeting :D

Although there is so much chatter taking place online, it is nowhere near as obnoxious as a long run of television commercials, in my opinion.

Ah well its just information anyway.... and LOTS of them xD

Typically it's an announcer screaming at me to come buy a car TODAY!!

Haven't been watching any TV commercials for close to 10 years.. still going on for car deals?

Yeah, I HATE TV. I lived without it for four happy years when I was single. But my wife considers it a household necessity, so I just try to avoid being in the house.

It's definitely getting noisy. Peace of mind is a rare commodity these days.

It is, people actually pay through the nose for the tibetan / himalayan experience..

yeah, that's right. What was once freely available and a default way of life has today become an "experience" that is "sold" to you. Strange times!

I wonder how long it will be before someone comes up with the idea of charging for "silence"!

Wouldn't be a surprise! Consumer experience for offline stuff's gonna skyrocket in value..

The more quiet the more you hear.

Can't wait when ecosystems like swarm.city gets developed!

WHAT!! ;0)

HWATTT??!

QUIET PLEASE!!!
