I agree in large parts, with 1 exception: If the platform becomes a place where content goes to be buried, then there are already too many places like that.
Quality content should be seen and rewarded.
Poor content shouldn't expect any reward.
All content should have the same opportunity to shine.

That's a great point, thanks for that feedback! You're totally right about that. I was just saying that money shouldn't be the only motivator. The motivation to produce great content needs to come from within. :)
