This morning on the porch I was enjoying the light playing upon the petunia that sits on our outdoor table. Perfect in its simplicity, it needs no other adornment. It blooms for all it's worth, whether anyone is looking or not. It blooms although there are other flowers nearby. It does not compete, or feel like it needs to be a different flower. It does not wish to have a different color every day of the week. It simply is, and in it's simplicity the deepest beauty is revealed. You too are a work of art, blooming in all your gorgeous self. You are simply perfect.
