A Halo of Thorns 1- Microfiction in the Age of the Coronavirus

I began to freakout in January when they closed a city of 11 million. You just don't close a city that size for nothing. I said to my lady, "you ain't going to the gym no more."

Of course this got her riled up, and she began to push back.

So I says, "listen woman, western civilization is about to collapse. I don't need none of your darn femininism."

Okay, I didn't say it quiet like that, but I impressed upon her in clear terms that the shit was about to hit the fan and we needed to get our act together.
