17 biblical principles that support Neurolinguistic Programming and Coaching Chapter VI, Part 1

Eighth and ninth principle: If it does not work, do something different considering that the person with the greatest variability of options is in control of the situation

How important it is to have in your life the ability to realize, so that through it handle the option of knowing, when we do not advance in the achievement of any goal, what is the reason for it and, most importantly, consider another option ... Although, it represents waiting for the time of that goal in our personal, family, work scenario ... What will reaffirm the resilience - already developed - is to have viable options even if they are not the most enjoyable ....

The woman with the blood flow
She is one of the biblical characters that has impacted me - every time I hear about her or I simply read her story again - she is the woman with the blood flow; a woman who sought his physical health, until he was ruined, let us read the scriptural account:

Luke 8: "... 43 But a woman who had suffered from blood flow for twelve years, and who had spent all she had on doctors, and none could be healed,
44 came to him from behind and touched the edge of his cloak; and instantly the flow of his blood stopped.
45 Then Jesus said: Who is it that has touched me? And denying all, said Peter and those who were with him: Master, the crowd squeezes and oppresses you, and you say: Who is it that has touched me?
46 But Jesus said: Someone touched me; because I have known that power has come from me.
47 Then, when the woman saw that it had not been hidden, she came trembling, and falling at his feet, she declared before all the people for what reason she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed.
48 and he said to her: Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace…"

... She had spent all her salary to feel good and, on her stage, the Savior appears, full of love and with manifestations of a healing power so strong that they took her to handle the option of faith ... she shows in her behavior the belief that if I touched it, it would be healthy again.

Flexibility is the best platform in the achievement of objectives, since it helps to discover favorable opportunities, so that the task of achieving the goal is made easier and perhaps less harmful ... why?

Because with flexibility a broader vision is handled, than that marked by rigidity or discriminatory beliefs, which limit the ability to see, feel and appreciate a new opportunity ... And it is precisely this gain of flexibility in the goal set , in interpersonal relationships and, in any sphere of personal influence. It should be noted that, in the case of this woman, she did not spend a coin to be free of her illness ... she had to assume another cost: that of fighting, with the resistance that was found along the way, to get to touch the edge from the mantle of Jesus, he was surrounded by people also with deep needs but ... at that moment ... none had so much faith.

It is important to remember that faith, defined in chapter 11 of the Book of Hebrews (It is, then, faith, the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of what is not seen ...) has a component of human understanding, that is, each believer must understand his faith, why he believes in it, who deposits it and whether or not it is a resource -not only in cases of emergency- are they for all time.

This woman came by faith to the Hall of Faith ... she was not only worn out, because of her illness, because of all the implications that this type of situation brings to a woman; she was also ruined, worn out since her illness was a reason for social isolation, according to the Law of Moses ... thank God that there, she would meet someone who was more than Moses ... her encounter was with Jesus, the Son of God ... God incarnate.

It is surprising, for me, her tenacity, the clarity that she managed in her goal: Being healthy meant being free, even if she was without money ... her faith gave her the platform to achieve her goal; his career moved the heart of the Savior ...

Of course Jesus knew who had touched her!

He wanted her, being already free of her limiting condition, to assume before all her healing ... Jesus majestically anchored her love, power and sufficiency as God and as Redeemer ... according to the scriptural review, she publicly assumes it and then Jesus blesses her with peace ... What a wonderful Savior we have!
Faith, seen as a way of achievement, becomes powerful in the life of the human being who understands it, who desires with all his heart to close with some phase of his life, to be free of some scourge or disease. This woman in her encounter with Jesus Christ, should be recorded in the Bible ... there was no other space to learn from her, in the same framework of faith, healing and liberation

The NLP principle says paraphrasing it in my own way: If something does not work for you, do it in a different way ... and if you manage flexibility, you can have less burdensome options, maybe simpler that will facilitate the achievement of the objective, this does not mean that require some cost that must be invested ...

In the case of this woman, do not think it was easy to squeeze, with people who were also struggling to achieve their own goals, in and with Jesus, it cost her discomfort, also exposing herself, before everyone when she should be isolated from everyone ... let me use a ... but ... he succeeded ... he touched his cloak and, he was healed at that very moment, his flow stopped.

On the other hand, the role of Jesus in this experience is interesting ... you can imagine the Savior, surrounded by people -with multiple needs and equally urgent that hers- ... maybe he stopped to wait for her ... or maybe he kept walking but a little slower ... God also wanted this meeting ... the truth is that she felt it ... In this scene, Jesus realizes that He came out of power ... But how strange ... came power without He decided to give it!

How was this woman's faith?

Her faith was overwhelmingly desperate ... she no longer had any other option, she did not have the means to pay for it, to vary by the time of her illness she was also isolated ... She gets up, responsibly assumes the risk of rejection (which was logical for her condition according to tradition), and less could be approached, if Jesus ministered to the people of God. She only had the strategy of faith.
