Grammarly for a better spell check

in writing •  7 years ago  (edited)

Grammarly is an application that is very useful for bloggers or people in general who have problems spelling words correctly like me.

Grammarly is a free smart writing assistant which I feel detects more errors or mistakes than Microsoft word .
It worked well with Google Chrome plug-in, you can use it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram just about on any website that you are on,

Once you start writing and you miss spell a word it will correct. I use it every day here on steam don't forget when you start blogging it's very important that your paragraphs are properly written and words are spelled correctly. Check it out I'm sure you'll like it.

Am I the only person who has a problem with the combination steemit, chrome and grammarly?

Spell checking goes OK, but when I select a correction these get reverted by something when selecting a second correction of when posting.

Is anyone else seeing this?

I am very aware of what you are talking about, what the situation is that it shows you the word that you can use as a correctional word what I do is just rewrite the word.

Don't you think it is relevant to mention this when advertising Grammarly in the context of Steemit? You are basically omitting the fact that the extension is broken in Steem. In my view, this makes Grammarly completely unusable on Steem. Manually correcting is just not convenient. I'd rather switch back to chrome spell check.

And then I am not even talking that Grammarly does not recognize the word Steem by default :)
