Author's View

As I'm off to bed, I don't usually use one pillow instead I used three pillows. Since my late mom told me that using more than one pillows helps the blood to circulate into the veins tru the brain. So I quickly understand because we have hypertension both my late mom and my dad since heriditary takes place.

On the other hand. Pillow can be comfy to snaggle especially in rainy season or in winter. Well, it keeps me warm. It also subside my sadness. The only thing that knows me when I am weary since I don't want anyone noticed me.

P.S.

Pillow gives proper support to the head while keeping the neck in alignment ensuring proper blood flow to the brain during sleep therefore not increasing blood pressure.

Is there a basis with the pillow having an effect on hypertension? Literally, blood pressure is the pressure that the blood go against the arterial wall.

Since we know highblood pressure deals only the pressure of blood itself and the heart beat but the brain requires 20% of all blood flow and uses 50% of the oxygen in the blood; day and night.
Though, massage therapist stress muscle tension in neck area can restrict blood flow and upon studying heart blood flow indicates that a restriction of blood flow in causes the heart to pump harder as does a restriction on the outflow.

It means that the brain in requiring a steady blood flow would cause the heart to beat harder and faster to get the necessary blood and oxygen if a restriction occurs.

Thank you for the wonderful question.
