Well today makes it 30days since I was officially active on steemit!!!!

What can I say?? There are lots and lots of things that came along my path this past 30days but first let me start with why you are seeing joined in November, 2017 but active on 8th January.

Well like they say whats worth doing is worth doing well!! Alot of you would agree with me that Steemit is not just any social media site that you just hop in and gbam!! You are there..... there are lots of things encompassed in it: up until now I'm still yet to know all

Back to the issue

Okay it started with a facebook post from @Ishotz telling us there's a meet-up. And I was like "hey!! Is this real?? " well I couldn't say till I got to the venue

Even after the first meet-up which I got to know @ejemai, @samstickkz and the rest it still seemed fake to me owing to the fact that I couldn't get hold of how to go about it so I just gave up then

Fast-forward to January 7th and behold the man called @mritsnobigdeal got in contact with me promising to explain everything in details for me.... So I said why not??

Getting to meet @mritsnobigdeal on that Monday morning was the turnover for me. He really took time out to lay things out for me one after the other.... This is something that took nothing less than 5hrs.

Getting on the platform

Well finally I was left to go on my way like Jonah in the wilderness ... I went ahead to meet alot of people and friends. People who I've always been motivated to good friends. Got to join many discord group but a special shout out to air-clinic and stach for always staying ahead everytime

Adjustments

Well since I started being active on steemit I think time, data and battery are the three things I've been robbed of. I have friends who charge their phones on the go but hey thanks to God I have a 4000mAH battery, if I charge twice m good for 24hrs!!. Also I think steemit have helped me rediscover myself, connects me with people round the world(i hope they turn business partners soon) and lastly another learning curve like google.... I get to learn on daily basis... So thank you Steemit!!

The money

Yeah, yeah, yeah...... This is a very tricky one but hey? Yeah, sure!! There's money on steemit but it comes at a price... You have to work for it!! You won't doubt the fact that many people are out here to gather as much sbds as they can and better themselves but I always tell people to look at it the other way. What if people that created steemit got the cash and decided to shut down?? What of those that have educative discord groups?? What of those that runs cuisines/photography/challenge and even news blog here... Are they doing it for money?? No it's content!! It's kinda almost voluntary!!

You look at people like @dimimp @ alexbeyman @davidpakman @Juliank @ejemai @nairadaddy and the rest.. I mean they have money but are still here doing what they do because of the love and passion..... So why can't you help grow the community in your own way..... To look beyond cash!!

Challenges so far

Well combining school, family, friends, church, social media and steemit just to name a few is never an easy task. I know days I've had to sleep an hour or two and wake up just to meet-up with the next class. The stress u go through blogging even on the road, the near misses, Light, data, and yes relationships too.... Sometimes I don't even have time for myself talkless of calling someone. You have to do all these and at the end of the day still pass your exams and other things which are paramount

Growing the community

Well over the past 30days I have been able to invite people to meet-ups helped others to get over one hurdle or two and finally helped alot of others get past a situation financially. This and many more are yet to come and I'm never shying away from it

The future

I think the future holds alot, I'd love to meet other great steemians like @hanen, @ogoowinner and @fibra59 amongst others. Personally I believe meeting people changes alot of things from bonds to business and so on so why not tour the globe and at the same time bring to you adventures of the journey and yes the food too. I'm also thinking about getting a logo and also organizing contests not forgetting to help in donations too... There are lots of people out there that needs your help...Do not hesitate when necessary

Conclusion

This is me signing out, the past month have been fun and innovative also educative. You can be whatsoever you want to be, it starts with the mind: "I can do it" . When once you are above procrastination and you are ready to work hard, failure is like history!! But before I sign out I wanna send shout outs to @enolife @Samwealth @vheeobong @udembahenry @penking @jadgenius @willaimshenry amongst others..... You guys rock!!!
