I've had a crush on Tunde for as long as I could remember. He was a two hundred level student in the University where I schooled. Tunde was gentle, caring, loving and a very considerate person. I thought he didn't notice me, until he asked me out.
On a Valentine's Day, Tunde came to my hostel, he made me wear my favorite gowns and blindfolded me, he held my hands and led me to the car. After driving for a while, we alighted, we walked for a minute or two, then he removed my blindfold. What I saw blew me away. A table for two was set in the middle of the most beautiful garden I've ever seen. The green hedges were covered with red flowers, water fountains were scattered around the garden. We had shrimps for appetizer, the main course was fried rice and roasted chicken, for desert we had chocolate ice cream.
After dinner, we went to the movies. We then took a stroll in the park. It was an amazing evening, I never knew Tunde was that romantic. That evening for the first time, he kissed me.
