#freewriting #7 At the doctor's office

Today I was at the doctor's office.

The first time in so many years I did. I cannot stand doctors, I do not have any faith in them either. They never helped me with my health even caused me more damage and shove me aside with the words: You just had bad luck, next time better.

So I kind of live on with the damage doctors caused me

some on purpose, others because they used me as a study object without asking me first!
Now I am abroad and do need a doctor. I am out of meds, hope plus not able to drive the long way back home.

The first doctor's assistent was shocked,

made a phonecall and sent me to an other doctor. I was second in row so did not need to wait long. The female doctor turned out to be a nice, old man on high age. He said I had to see a specialist, but after I showed all my empty boxes and cremes etc he tried to subscribe them to me again. Pity enough a part is not available over here, but still I will give it a try. Next we all talked about our countries, etc and I left.

P.s. You should know my father is a doctor and I spent about 15 years of my life in hospital being everybody's lab-rat without any result.

How is your health now and what happened to you.

I have 5 different auto immune diseases. In short it means I am my own biggest ennemy and my immune system is trying to destroy me. I try to avoid stress as much as possible, save energy and to survive (or hang on) till my children are old enough to take care of themselves. The past 2 days I feel better and I have less pain so I hope it will get better although the winter is arriving. Thanks for asking.
