In life, Everybody wants to feel good. We all want a life that's filled with happiness, ease, luxury etc.
We all want to earn major bucks,be popular, respected and to an extent feared. Falling in love ,amazing sex,and relationships that will make friends envy are also what we want.
It's a wonderful desire no doubt and if I ask you , What so you want out of life ?. You'll say "I want to live a heathy happy life, to get married and have a wonderful family, and good job too". Truth is your reply is so obscure that it means nothing.
But there's a question of much importance that people fail to ask. "What are you willing to give up? how much pain are you willing endure in your life?. Our lives seem to revolve around these questions and somehow we seem to avoid them.
Amazing jobs, a fat salary with less stress are what we yearn for in a job. But what about the late nights, early mornings, failed appointments, bulky paper work and so on. We want riches but we aren't willing to take the risks and make the sacrifices .
For the ladies, y'all want that celebrity type of body. You can get it but you have to love the pain and sweat that comes with working out. For only then can you attain your dream body.
Right now i think we shouldn't just get engrossed in the things we want without embracing the fact that we need to pass through some amount of pain to get them.
So as you know " No pain,No gain"

After a lifetime of thinking about this and researching this, I've come to the conclusion that we cannot have even one extra ounce of pleasure (i.e. happiness, joy) without also receiving an extra ounce of pain (i.e. suffering, misery). And I believe that this interconnection between pleasure and pain explains the current epidemic of chronic depression, anxiety, and physical pain. I've written a free book on these concepts called The Sudist Way (https://sudism.org/the-book-of-sudism/). I am not selling anything, only looking to help out all those who are suffering and unsure how to get out of their chronic misery. The Sudist Way gives you the free tools to overcome this depression, anxiety, and chronic pain without medication or therapy. If I managed to cure myself of depression and chronic anxiety after suffering from them for over 10 years, so can you!
Best of luck and please take excellent care of yourselves.
