#WSJKillsKids

The Wall Street Journal is a longstanding magazine that has typically been for business people and those playing the stock markets (hence why it is called Wall Street Journal) but just like every other media source, it has branched off in recent years to start focusing on other issues. Every news source is guilty of one terrible act or another, but recently the WSJ has sunk to a new low that beats out all its competition. CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NY Times, WaPo all cannot compete with the WSJ in terms of disgusting actions. They successfully prevented a donation of $27,000 to children with cancer.
To start we must go back a few weeks, to the end of September. The YouTuber know as Ethan Ralph hosts The Killstream, the #1 late night YouTube show. They pull in anywhere from 4,000 to 6,000 viewers per episode and even higher on special episodes. On September 29th, 2018, they held The Healstream.

This should be a video of the healstream available on the _Killstream Archives_ channel, but as I was writing this, the account was terminated. In this stream, they brought on many guests and all money raised through YouTube's _SuperChats_ were donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude is one of the leading facilities for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. By the end of the nearly 7 hours long stream, Ethan Ralph and his team raised $27,000. An impressive amount for a bunch of YouTubers. But deep in the bowels of the _Wall Street Journal_, a journalist sat and fumed over the idea. That journalist was Yoree Koh.

Yoree began writing an article on the Healstream for the WSJ, an article that it appears will never be released, as you can imagine that this would not look good on them. The WSJ then proceeded to do everything they could to take down Ethan Ralph's channel. On the 1st of November, the Killstream was in the middle of the show when they were struck down with almost 4,000 people watching. They started up again soon after on his co host, Zidan's channel, but was then struck down. But this was only the beginning.
The WSJ began pressuring both YouTube and St. Jude to refund the money donated to them. Between November 1st and 2nd, people took to twitter and Facebook to show that their donations were being refunded, against their request.

Dozens more of refunds have been posted to twitter showing the same thing, from the same day. The WSJ put politics above charity by forcing YouTube and St. Jude to refund this money, taking it away from needy children who require the money for research to help cure cancer. Are you disgusted yet?
It is clear that Yoree was in contact with Ethan Ralph through a leaked email. She specifically makes references both to the Healstream, St.Jude and superchats. All three of these comes back to play a significant role in this story. Ralph didn't reply to her, stating he has had bad experience in the past with speaking to the Mainstream Media.

I have already covered the refunding of the superchats from the St.Jude Healstream, but since then, YouTube then disabled superchats on both Ethan Ralph's main channel, The Ralph Retort, and his back up channel, Killstream Live had their super chats disabled.

However, this is pointless considering both these channels were then terminated by YouTube. Then, the Killstream's co host, Zidan, who usually runs a post game show, had his account terminated.

The Wall Street Journal led a campaign of deplatforming against Ethan Ralph and his co hosts because they didn't like what they were talking about or the jokes being made. They place Ralph as a member of the Alt-Right, a white nationalist and white supremacist. As far as I can tell, Ethan Ralph isn't any of these things. He has stated he is not a white nationalist, which means he is not a member of the alt right, and if he was, he would be a terrible alt righter considering he is married to a Pakistani woman. He is a person who is not afraid of defending white people when they are being shit on, but regardless he is slandered to be a white supremacist. It is one thing to take down Ethan Ralph's channel, it is something completely different to put politics before sick children and force a hospital that does good work for children with cancer to refund the money. This is why, on twitter, #WSJKillsKids was trending, as many of Ralph's fans and detractors alike were disgusted with the treatment of the man and the treatment that these kids have faced because of it. Over the next couple of days, we will see whether or not Yoree Koh answers for what she has done and whether Ralph's channels will be restored. One thing is clear, the Wall Street Journal will pay dearly for this action.
