The WWE & the Big Bang Theory

What an Irony when we hear the «WWE Universe». 

Because there is a lot of similarity between our universe & the WWE. 

You might think that’s stupid? Well you wait & read until you know what’s all about it. If you, readers are professional wrestling fans, like me, with spending your life, since you’re a child following & watching with even a dream to become one of those athletes, watching Pro Wrestling shows, attending events, perhaps buying merchandises as well.  

How this industry is look like these days & is it still has that charm to gather fans & keep them follow? 

After the Internet & Social media, with the Kayfabe is actually no more, thanks to the WWE itself sometimes, the professional Wrestling or what Mr. Vince McMahon is calling it (Sports entertainment) represented By the WWE the ambassador of this business worldwide. 

WWE did many things wrong in some ways & the excitement is getting less & less. 

We’re seeing the ratings are below average & the entire environment of the business is getting less passion as it was before.  

Talents are misused, bad booking, bad story lines, and keep on same boring couple of names on TV every week. 

Titles lost its prestige, while back in time, you use to bust your but until you be able to have a title match, not just win the title. Now we’ve Wrestlers barely exceeds 30 years of age & they are 5 & 7 & 10 time former Champions! 

Injuries increased a lot in these past couple of years with many great talents was forced to retire or being out of Action for months, and when they return they stuck in Mid card & perhaps, we just see them on TV until we hear on the Internet that, this Wrestler or that is asking for his release, or simply being released with the phrase of best of luck in his/her future endeavors. 

Back in time for example we used to have Hulk Hogan as the face of WWE & he survived for a decade representing the business & he become the slogan for anyone around the world when talking about Pro Wrestling. 

Then no one had that privilege, while Bret Hart, The UnderTaker, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, the Rock, Triple H etc… 

All of these names did a lot but none of them earn that precise spot or at least he only took that spot somehow for year or two, perhaps three or four, until we witnessed the genesis of John Cena, who became the face for more than a decade & with many resemblance of the spot that he earns which it was similar to Hogan, but with more tools to support the look & Media which the new Era offered when back in time at the 80’s & 90’s was way more poor in these supporting tool to create a Star. 

Now in these past years most of the legend retired such as the Undertaker who’s smilingly is retiring, with tones of injuries & old, with the WWE has failed to create new Star or new phenom to replace any of these retired stars. Why is that?   

John Cena himself now almost being part timer, while we might see him soon taking the path of The Rock to become a Hollywood Star & leave the business. Now, we’re hearing some news that saying that the rock might even run for President! Now, the purpose of my article is not to tell a story about the WWE & Professional Wrestling. 

I’m in the beginning of telling you a Story about the future. When we hear the phrase of WWE Universe, we shouldn't be surprised, because the WWE is like the Universe that we all living in, with same stories of our Daly life we see in the story lines. 

The WWE did emerge same as this world emerged with a big Bang that gathers the small planets & join them all in one. 

When Vince McMahon took over most of the territorial areas & promotions, bring the business to pay TV, Cable, PPV to WRESTLEMANIA & now we entered the Internet shows & the creation of the WWE Network. 

It’s like creating a Universe, in some point faced threats from other galaxies & defeat them, them join them to his world. 

Well the End will be the Same, another Big Bang & you’ll see the WWE shrinks again to pieces, once Vince McMahon gone. 

Then the battle between the share holders & the heirs of the Legacy, Shane & Stephanie starts to divide their shares. 

Only one Smart guy who’s Paul Lévesque (Triple H) Stephanie’s Husband & the Current WWE COO, did something interesting by creating NXT, his plan B, when all set & done very soon. 

All the mentioned was some highlights to the more details that I’ll talk about in the upcoming articles, which I’m looking forward to see readers feedback about the subject.
