I am not a typical gamer but I love console gaming more than all of the other platforms not that there are more than the pc though.

Reason 1: Hardware costs

Even if I can't always afford the newest console coming out at that moment , my old console is still able to play a lot of the new games unlike pc where the hardware constantly replaced.

2 : portable and the space

With devices like Nintendo switch , console is portable allthough some whould argee gaming laptop are portable the experience is not the same without a mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse. With console you can take it any where were there is tv and it doesn't take much of rhe space.

3 : purpose built

Console are build with one thing in mind gaming while pc are normally modified to play games.
