According to Dan Woodman of University of Melbourne, if you're born between 1977-1983, you're a Xennials. To name something is to acknowledge and celebrate its existence. So thank you, Aussie, for naming and recognizing our niche generation. While we're too tech-savvy to be considered Gen-Xers, we're not self-absorbed enough to join the Millennials.
Jorrie Varney opines on the differences and they're spot-on. I miss the '90s. So if you got excited while hearing "You've got mail" from AOL or played Nintendo/Sega for hours on-end because there was no "SAVE" button, then join the club.
