It's the eternal question:
Did the influx of ADHD among 90s babies occur because of X-Men: The Animated Series, or did the influx of ADHD among 90s babies contribute to the runaway popularity of X-Men: The Animated Series?
Seriously, though. This show was everything an ADHD 90s kid needed. You can learn everything you need to know about this show by just watching its intro. Colors flashing, ceaseless action, words everywhere. It's a madhouse wrapped into an intro and the show itself is just as out of control (though surprisingly compelling. Rewatching it now, it's held up well).
Here's how ADHD I was as a kid. I spent countless hours watching this show on Saturday mornings... but I didn't even know what it was called. I remember everyone talking about the movie coming out in 99 and I didn't have any idea what they were talking about.
Wasn't until I was sitting in the theater watching it that I was like ohhhhhhhhh yea this is that show with the claw dude and the lightning lady that used to come on before Spider-Man.
