Data protection plays a major role in many blockchain-based project ideas, and presents issues which are not always easy to resolve. Blockchain is a technology which enables the protection of data against manipulation. So, in this sense, it increases the security of data. However, simply put, this security is achieved by making the records saved in the blockchain transparent and immutable; and this, in turn, is achieved through the redundant and distributed storage of each record at multiple nodes throughout a large network.
As a result, the development of a blockchain project needs to include careful examination of what kind of data is being stored, and whether that data could be considered to be personal data.
With that being said, XSL Labs will be tasked with creating an ecosystem in which user data is protected to the maximum. All of the services offered in the ecosystem will be accessible with the SYL token, and the remuneration of the various members will be made through it.

What exactly is XSL LABS?
As depicted earlier and as illustrated in the official website of XSL LABS, XSL Labs is an ecosystem that intends to protect user privacy and data. Several platforms in XSL Labs such as Pulsar, SDI, SYL Library, and ONE will operate and develop in the future to become platforms that truly understand users and protect their privacy. Meanwhile, XSL Labs will be the ecosystem that will be responsible for the development of these projects and provide SYL tokens as access to these platforms.
XSL Labs will ensure the decentralization of the network and the interoperability of all the services offered within the SYL ecosystem. XSL Labs will give priority access to Cortex by allowing interoperability with this extension on the majority of dApps in the SYL ecosystem. Gathering data while preserving the anonymity of users will become possible and simple. Each user will be able to monetize data concerning his life and his mode of consumption without this action implying a reduction of the level of confidentiality. Cortex will bring together any actor in the digital economy but also in the local economy that wishes to participate in the aggregation of its customer data.
The extension will allow users to be paid for the use of their personal data. The data will consist of the data in the user's SDI as well as the results of an in-depth questionnaire on consumption habits and the composition of the household. From then on, the user will be able to begin the process of partnering with brands by being regularly informed of opportunities based on his lifestyle and consumption habits. The user will determine the maximum threshold for marketing canvassing per month himself in order to have absolute control over his frequency of commercial communications.

It is a collection of encrypted data that only the user can read. it will be used in the ecosystem and will be interpreted with other web system
The function of the SDI decentralized storage is to restore checkpoint of users profile as well as to ensure the irrevocable nature of the data transmitted on an SDI and to respect the legal retention period. Any data captured on the Pulsar network will be unintelligible because the owner of the SDI is the only one to hold the decryption key which links the public network (Pulsar) and his data, thus unveiling the data.
SYL Library
The Syl Library provides its user maximum access to the ecosystem with trust, it also ensures quality services are provided with the GDPR and all of the services offered on SYL Library as guarantee trust
SYL LIBRARY being a trust worthy ecosystem provided to user, up to 0.01% - 15% Amount of cost services are been directly to XSL Labs in order to ensure the maintenance of the ecosystem.
This amount is divided into two namely:
1- An Automatic Contribution with each purchase and subscription that will provide funds for the minimum operational needs of XSL Labs. This percentage will decrease with the increase of number of services that will be available on SYL Library. A minimum floor of 0.01% will be applied.
2- A Variable Contribution at the user's choice during a purchase or subscription. This variable contribution will make it possible to subsidize new projects within the ecosystem. A maximum ceiling of 14.99% will be applied.
About The SYL Token
SYL tokens will be the means of exchanging, purchasing services, and executing Smart Contracts in the SYL ecosystem. Consequently, the value of assets will depend on the amount of services and their costs, the number of assets in circulation, the speed in the ecosystem, and the supply / demand in speculative markets.
It will be necessary for the creation of SDI, to execute the Smart Contract, and will be usable in the ecosystem to access the various services that will be provided in the SYL Library.

SYL Tokenomics
XSL Labs issues a token called "SYL". This token is the native asset of the entire XSL Labs ecosystem. It is a token of type ERC-20 which can be traded by the user. At launch, SYL will only have a maximum supply of 10,000,000,000 and cannot be created again. Later this token will have a function as "fuel" that will support the operations of XSL Labs.
