"Adam had golden hair and green eyes. To see her was different from her other siblings. Ever since hearing his first cry, I have loved him, "said his mother, Jovan. But Adam's father, IS Jihadi Abu Muhajir, was captured by his mother, Yazidi Woman Jovan. Adam was born in their house. When Abu Mujaheer died in the war, Jovan wanted to return to his family with his newborn. But he couldn't. Jovan lost Adam under pressure from family and society. He lost his previous family.

Previous life Jovan lived in a village with her husband Khedar. He grew up in this village. She was very happy with her husband and family. But five years ago, his life suddenly changed. It was August 23rd. On the day two cars arrived at their village, flying the black flag. Jovan and Khedor couldn't understand what was happening in the village but could only apprehend that the danger awaited them. The people who came by car were jihadists of the Islamic State.

Some faces of this group were known to them. Some of them were sons of a nearby village whom her husband Kheder knew.

They then forced them into a car and drove them to the Sinjar Valley. They had 20 other families with them.

They were later taken to a town near Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Five months later, IS militants took them to Mosul near the village of Jovan and Khedar.

At that time most of the people in that village fled to the mountains. Then the leader of the IS group told Khedar to bring them back to the village.

"We all told them they would not be harmed. But no one believed that," said Khedar.

The villagers knew that the men who carried out IS fighters would be killed if they did not do any work.
