Yemen, Cholera, and Blood on U.S. Hands

Nearly 110,000 cases are reported with 190 deaths in Yemen. Almost a third of the cases are for children under five.

The worst outbreak of the disease in the country was 2017, more than a million cases were reported and 2,500 PEOPLE DIED of the infection. Only half of the country’s 3,500 medical facilities are fully functioning. 20 million people lack access to adequate healthcare. 18 million do not have access to clean water or sanitation.
