We've been mentioning this cryptocurrency a lot in our posts lately, so I thought it would be a good idea to introduce this token.
Yearn.finance is a platform and aggregation service (sharing internet link capacity among multiple users) for decentralized finance (DeFi) investors, using automation to allow investors to maximize profits from returns.
The goal of yearn.finance is to make DeFi as simple as possible for investors.
Previously, the yearn.finance platform was called iEarn, which founder Andre Cronje left in February 2020, but returned immediately because he wanted to help develop new products and set up the YFI token.
The platform uses various tools that act as an aggregator for DeFi protocols such as Curve, Compound and Aave. Those who hold these cryptocurrencies bring the highest possible return.
The target audience for yearn.finance are investors who don't have the time or don't want to study the increasingly complex DeFi or those who want to optimize their returns.
YFI are the native tokens of the yearn.finance platform, which ranks 81st with a market capitalization of $1,266,784,084.
