I’m Dodo and I want to present a project to you that I and my friends worked in the last few months. It's a mobile app utilizing the Steem Blockchain to find and train one's talents called Younique.
So what is Younique exactly?
A free mobile app where you can join together with other people in predefined competitions. Other users will rate your performance in those partitions. Depending on your performance you will be rewarded.
What is our mission?
We want to give people a reason to improve skills and discover their talents by trying out different competitions.
How will you achieve this?
By utilizing the deflationary characteristics of the Steem Blockchain. Every time you submit something to a competition on Younique the app will create a comment on one of Youniques posts on the blockchain.
When you vote on the submission of someone, you will vote with 10% of your current Steem Power on the comment, representing their submission in a competition.
This means if someone is voting for your submission, you will receive a vote on your comment on the Steem blockchain making you eligible for a reward in Steem.
It is important to note that none of your submissions are posted to the Steem Blockchain direktly. The only thing permanently engraved in the blockchain will be your comment on one of Youniques posts, containing an ID.
What are competitions?
Competitions are Youniques way of encouraging skill improvements. You will be able to submit ONE image per competition. If you don't like your first submission you can retract it and submit another later one. You will lose your votes thought but not the reward in Steem. Competitions have a period of 1 week until they are renewed.
There are currently 3 categories with more to come.
Faces of Younique: A general competition, where you can show your uniqueness.
Shaping Up: Show your training results and tips for other people.
Be Artsy: Unleash the creativity and show your drawing, singing, dancing or any other form in which you present your creativity.
