No matter where you are now or what you do, you orbit the star of the Sun at 30 kilometers
per second and orbit the Sun around the center of the Milky Way at 200 kilometers per second. As part of the Milky Way, you swim in space towards an unknown place of great gravity (the great attractor) at 600 kilometers per second.
This image of a large group of galaxies named Laniakea means the great paradise in the native language of the Hawaiian population (where the discovery was made). The location of the Milky Way for the Lanikai Group is on its limbs away from the center (in the suburbs).
This map is the result of research on how galaxies relate to each other and their mobility mechanisms and identifies factors that affect the spacing or convergence of galaxies from each other.
Each point in the image symbolizes a galaxy that includes billions of stars.
Our current title is the continent (with year to geolocate), planet Earth, solar system, Milky Way, Hungarian Virgin Cluster, Lanikai, or Great Paradise.
