Why You Should NEVER Sub For Sub On YouTube

With YouTube's recent changes, I have a feeling this is going to increase the amount of sub for sub.

What is sub for sub? Its when you subscribe to someone's channel in exchange for a subscriber back. This is the worst thing you can do to your channel and its against YouTube's rules. And YouTube will terminate your channel if they find out.
People who sub for sub have no interest in your content. They are only subscribing to get their numbers up. Most people who sub for sub either don't know any better, too lazy to put in the work to earn subs, know sub for sub will get them no where, but they just don't care about their channel

Why do you want inactive subscribers who won't bother to watch your videos, the sneaky thing sub for sub people do is subscribe and unsubscribe after you return the sub or not even subscribe. if you ask me, sub for sub is lazy. Its saying you want things handed to you on a silver platter. Its like being at a job, wanting the work done for you and expecting the boss to promote you.

Think of it like, owning a restaurant. You want consumers who enjoy the food you serve. If people just show up and not buy anything, how is that helping your business? If you are getting subscribers who don't care for your videos, how is that helping you in any way?

When you post a video to YouTube, its put in people's feed. If no one clicks on it, that tells YouTube no one is interested in your video and YouTube hides said video. And YouTube will ultimately hide your channel. Even if a real subscriber comes along, it won't matter since no one is interacting with your content

The best way to get subscribers is to bust your hump. Remember cheaters never win, and winners never cheat.
I know this won't change people's mind about sub for sub, but I am preventing them from learning the hard way. On my old channel, I did sub for sub, I thought it was the best way to grow. I had all these subs but not many views on my videos. I am lucky YouTube didn't terminate it.
So thanks for reading/watching. Tell me what you do with sub for sub comments. I ban the user from my channel.

Yes to this post! I am in a FB group that asked the members to link their channels so that everyone can sub for sub. I looked through many of the posts and realized most them have not had any content in months or years! Why now do they want to take action on their channel?! I am not saying not to support, but if you didnt have any content that I found interesting to sub, then why do I need an extra 80 subscribers if they are not even watching my content, or clicking ads.

Right, most of the time the sub for suber has poor quality content or stolen content. And I left most facebook groups that's nothing but spam and sub for sub
