One of the questions we get often in the YouTube community is from people who have joined Multi Channel Networks. MCN's should always be considered a business that provides you with some level of service. MCN's may make claims of garnishing you more views, subscribers and money, but the reality is, the only person who is going to work for your channel is you.
An MCN can provide you with certain services. You have to decided if those services are worth the small percentage commission the MCN is going to take from your earners. The next more important aspect is whether or not they have a contract. Remember, a contract is a legal obligation. It's best if you can find an MCN that doesn't have a contract and will allow you to leave at any time.
Keep in mind that the process of joining and then leaving can take up to 4 months, but typically should only take 30 days. Always be aware of what you're signing up for.
