Yogscast 10 Years Old! Best YouTubers?

in youtube •  7 years ago  (edited)

This is a small review of the Yogscast who have recently had its 10th anniversary

I have been watching these guys for at least 6 years, these guys have been growing and changing constantly but they always manage to seem honest in the way they present themselves. All of the interactions between each other seem so natural and relaxed and that wears off on you too as a viewer. Even though they don't talk to the audience as much as other Youtubers I feel connected with them when i'm watching the videos. The community is also pretty amazing as well, with very few toxic members in comparison to their size, which Is why I love reading the comment sections in videos.

My favourite Yogscast Member

It has to be the real guy...the best guy SIPS. His comedy is just perfect for me, his dark sense of humour just cracks me up everytime I watch him. Whilst everyone would be taking the tasks seriously, Sips would just be taking the piss the whole time and watching Lewis raging at him is a brilliant sight. Unfortunately I don't watch as much of him because he streams a lot more and i'm not usually free when he streams and he doesn't post anymore on YT. Also because of his dark sense of humour he can be a bit of a loose cannon and that combined with YT's greater censoring policies and its "PG" algorithms means he doesn't feature as much on the main channel with the rest of them.

Best variety

This has to be one of the biggest assets that the yogscast has created and grown in. Now they have so many YT channels and content creators means that it's almost impossible to find at least one person that you don't enjoy watching. It also means that if you want more serious gaming content then its there with other creators such as Rythian and Hannah who do playthroughs. Games also vary a lot between channels meaning you can watch any genre with any of the yogscast team. They even have a designated D&D channel and Civilization channel.

Why we should want them to succeed

Even if you do not particularly like there content or are not at all interested in games, we as a society should be rooting for companies like this to succeed, this is because they are at the forefront of the new media, whose sole purpose is to create good content that they enjoy making. Although it has to work economically it is not what they base their content on. They also interact greatly with the community which can only be a positive. Plus a big presence when it comes to raising money for charity raising millions through their yearly "Jingle Jam" which is over the christmas period.

the Yogcast are definately a good group of entertainers.

I would have to say that Simon from the Yogs is my fave member

I think James Corbett is my favorite youtuber and is here on steemit @corbettreport

Yeah he's brilliant shame he doesn't do as much as he used to. I'll check him out

Keith Waering makes me laugh, when he's not in rehab. The PG censors must of missed him :) Don't buy everything he talks about though, he's picked some spectacular gainers and some that ran off with the money
