We teach you how to convert a YouTube to MP3 audio file that you can download onto your computer or smartphone. There are a couple of different free, online converters that you can use to do this in the event that one of them is down or blocking certain content, you should be able to use the other one. Keep in mind that downloading music from official music videos is prohibited by YouTube, so you won't be able to use most sites to download MP3s from music videos
Using MP3 Converter on Desktop
Open YouTube. Go to www.youtube.com in your browser. This opens the YouTube home page. If the video you want to download is not age-related, you don't need to access YouTube. Find the video you want to download. Click on the search bar at the top of the YouTube page, enter the name of the video, and click? Introduction.
Select a video
Click on the video you want to download. This will ask you to open the video and start playing it. If your video is in the playlist, find a version of the video that isn't in the playlist. Otherwise, you will not be able to download the video because the playlist addresses are not compatible with online converters.
Copy the Video's Address
To highlight a location, press the address bar at the top of the browser window and press Ctrl + C (Windows) or? Command + C (Mac). If the video address does not appear when you click, double-click the location, or move the mouse over the entire address. Add the video address. Click on the text box at the top of the MP3 Converter page, then click Ctrl + V (Windows) or? Command to place the address of the video + V (Mac).
Select the File Type
Click the Select file type button to convert it to a "pop-up window", then click the .mp3 option. Click the "Start" button. It's the green button at the bottom of the page. When you do that, you usually convert your video to an MP3 file. take a few minutes.
If prompted, click Download your modified file. Once the file conversion is complete, this green button will appear on the left side of the page. Clicking this button will require you to download the MP3 file to your computer. The download time varies depending on the file size and the strength of your Internet connection.
