It looks good and the suggested follows section is a nice touch.
I cant see it replacing Steemit for me but if they can deliver a useable app for mobile then I can definitely see myself spending time on it.

Thanks to your post, I just checked out zappl... doesnt seem to be too compatible with my iphone at the moment however

It definitely has some way to go but it looks good on desktop so far. I'll check it out on mobile later but I really prefer native apps.
