Real Dragon Bones Found in China?

in zappl •  7 years ago

Real or fake I thought this was worth a zap. If fake, who made it? Could this be some extravagant movie promotion? If real, what killed it?

I spliced the images below from the following vid src:

Got to be fake, It wouldn't be in perfectly in one piece at that stage of decomposition, it would be more broken up and scattered maybe even missing some bone parts.

I hope it's fake also b/c those things would need to eat something ...

The cynic in me who has been let down more times than I can count would say it's a fake. The kid in me is praying it's real. I just want some magic in this world...

If they're real we'd probably have to hunt them down though ... But, yes, real-life dragons would be quite magical. Especially if they're fire breathing -- yikes!!! One would need a fire retardant shark suit to fight one of them.

"There are inconceivable mysteries beyond our horizons, out into the nether of space, millions upon millions upon millions of miles and lifetimes away that most of us neither have the capacity nor the patience to venture toward. Fuck, there are still places on this planet that man has not explored and there are species that we have not discovered, not to mention the rapid advances in technology on a regular basis. So for skeptics to tell me there is no way these things can exist or that what I am saying herein cannot be true is a pile of obstructive dick snot. Let’s face it: at the end of the day, aren’t you glad there are still some fantastic things to figure out down here?

Leave math to the spacemen. Leave theory to the wish masters. Leave condemnation to hypocrites and bastards. Take one more deep breath, savor it, and plunge forward without thinking. Do not allow yourself hesitation. Do not allow yourself a moment of doubt. Follow your instincts and go where you never would have considered possible. The pale fabric of reality has so many hidden pockets that we can find some change in here somewhere — you just have to dig a little deeper to avoid the chewing gum and past mistakes. But if you give it time, we can find something wonderful, something to believe in. It is far better to explore and come back sated, albeit with more questions, than to stay behind and bitch because you are terrified of the answers that lie in the unknown. Sometimes the reward is richer when the journey was yours from the start. Sure, you enjoy the stories the truly brave bring back and share, but what really builds us all are the ones we share as one. Of course, that first step is the scariest...

Do not worry—I am right here with you. No one here is going to scoff or judge or fuck with you. I will not allow it. That right there is the beautiful thing about new knowledge, really.. It may be strange, and it may scare the fucking shit out of you, but you will wonder... YOU WILL WONDER."

real life Skyrim! ;)
An hoax to make a viral video. Would have been more believable if they had found the bones below ground.
There's even a few houses behind so it would've been seen way before it decomposed or when it was alive.

Perhaps a hungry family got to it first?

The skeptic in me says no way. Just looking at the spinal chord this entity would have to remain in constant flight as it appears the skeleton could not support its own weight.

That dragon seemed very bottom heavy and incapable of flight to me. Plus, where are the wings? The best example I can compare it to is the dragon from the movie The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.

You've really got to love the Cyclops movies from back in the day. Thank you Brother, that took me way back!!!

@fulltimegeek - I agree that it is probably fake. The bones look to 'recent' by archaeological standards. Also, as an Engineer, I do not see any strong structure for attaching the wings and could take the strain of the long body and tail suspended from it while the dragon flies.
Having said that - I wish I could come across Draco from Dragonheart though. Well - we will all have to be on horses with armour and run the risk of getting our a$$ cooked like a potato-in-skin but wouldn't it be cool to have dragons around?
Thanks for this - will research it a bit more. Upvoted full.

If this turns out to be true, I will have dragons in the next parts of my Sci-Fi story of becoming a SBD Millionnaire in 147 years!!

Regards,

@vm2904

That might be Peking Man's pet dragon!

It seem fake, but it would have been really fun if it was real! are there any other info on this? where is it? how long have it been there? the red on the bones, is it meat/blood? so many questions. I hope somebody else find another specimen of this creature.
keep your eyes in the sky and the ground, people. you never know what you will find

how funny that it happend exactly in china ...

What it his ?

is it real or just mere engineering?

Fresh bones anyone?

Great post

Amazing, @fulltimegeek. But, my question is, is the existence of dragons real or mirth? Great to see you are online after a long time. @greatness96

Well we certainly know that the Red Dragon is great at causing deception my bro

The bones look too well preserved and coloured for extra effect, but if it is real, that is a great find, but knowing that the Chinese culture could profit off of such a "created" discovery due to their love for dragons, that would also make sense. Or indeed it could be a movie prop.

Either way,
I wrote another song regarding our enemy the Red Dragon, and our Lord and Saviour

I hope you enjoy this one for what it's worth bro, I am sure you can appreciate the message. God bless

Looks like the real thing man, probably died a natural death, most likely someone found the pieces an put it together and make it a little extravagant...

Yes, I do wonder if that is fake or real, also what would have killed that?

Gotta be fake. What do you think?

Reminds me of that picture someone posted way back of a supposed Giant Squid that had washed up on the shores:

Which of course turned out to be fake as is quite well pointed out in this video.

Anyways, in the attention economy that we live in today where attention and clicks = Money, I assume most claims to be BS until I've studied the evidence. So my call here is that they either put together some different bones with a deer's skull (or a similar animal) at the end. Or just crafted something.

In either case I bet they had a lot of fun :P

I don't think it is real, if it is real it would have broken in parts.

Cool idea. Must be fake. I once started building animatronic dragon to make videos like that. This did not work so then planned to sculpt the realistic bones of the dragon and shot the viral video. There was once the campaign for games of thrones where they put gigantic dragon skull. They were faster. Hard to beat the team when i work on my own.

video editing..?

Hello @fulltimegeek

This is just mouth watering, i mean i have being a lover of this mythical creature since the days of Merlin and most recently Game of throne and i wish i could see one face-to-face even if it just in my dream....i crazily love dragon.

@nuges

I think it flew from Game of thrones to china.. during the summer break

Fake. Because the Asians who found this would have taken the bones and cooked a "dragon bone stew" (Helps with erectile disfunction)
