Am watching this a second time to see if they ever tried increasing the cost to the game player for killing an animal? There are IRL costs to energy, resources, and sometimes health to killing animals for food and hides. Looks like they only adjusted the value of the animals themselves and their spawn rates.

It does seem that they have not tried increasing the cost of killing the animals... I think that would have been even more difficult, though. You would end up with some really tough bunnies!
