Yep it would cost a nice amount of dollars. I'll keep my fingers crossed you will win the lottery one day.
While you are dreaming about visiting Europe including my country, one of my kids is actually backpacking in yours :)
Strange to realize, my kid is closer to you than to me at the moment. Luckily we have the internet to stay in touch.

oh wow, where in Australia are they currently and are they coming to Perth? Many don't get to the West but it's a beautiful place, you could spend months exploring it all.

I backpacked back in 2000 and although the internet existed, social media wasn't widely used and my parents, even to this day are technology useless and refuse to join the 21st century and get on the internet, even a smartphone scares them and they aren't even 60 yet! We still print and send them photos. Ridiculous I tell you lol... Sorry rant over lol...

I can understand it is scary for some, there is a lot of talk about the security issues, people hacking your system, thinks like that. Many people find that too much of a threat. On the other hand they could be so much more up to speed with what you are doing, especially with the little one who recently entered your lives.

As a parent, with a kid far away from home, I am very pleased with the internet. Seeing what she is seeing, the bad, the weird, the uckly (She got her daily backpack stolen while sleeping at a hostel. Someone ran in, grabbed some bags, and ran out. She lost everything, credit card, passport, camera, phone. Luckily she still had her tablet to contact us so we could send some money). Free calls using Telegram works great. After traveling around and working on a farm (to get her visa extended for a year) she went to Melbourne. They (she met someone) have decided to go to Nepal next, then to Sri Lanka (I think) and then home (to the Netherlands). But I am pretty sure they will go back to your country, as their visas are still valid for a few month.

I'll promote your city, who knows what they will do :)
I have never been to your country but I think every part of it is worth visiting.

Well if they do come back then let them know they have someone to show them some of the sights. I am sorry she got her backpack stolen too. That really sucks. I have never been to Nepal but would like too. See you around the blockchain.
:D
