Can you post a photograph of the opening page? I'm interested in seeing the decoration for the chapter heading.

I'm delighted and surprised that what seems to be the colophon (end) has been decorated (photos 2 and 3). In the Persian and Turkish manuscripts that I am familiar with that bit is left relatively plain. Do you know, is this common for Aceh workshops?

I am not an expert in the manuscript, I just as a photographer and loves history and culture. I advise you to contact @pedir-museum or facebook account Luengputu Manuskrip Melayu Aceh.

or you can contact @hermansyah or facebook account Herman Syah. he is in a period studying in Leipzig Germany. He is identification of this manuscript.
