Adultery is the act by which a married person has Sexual intercourse with someone other than their spouse.
In the book of Exodus 20:14 the Bible says:-
14.Thou shalt not commit adultery.
To me adultery means the act of adulterating oneself.
When you commit adultery you are corrupt, spoiled, defiled, impurities are found in you.
When you adulterate yourself, it is very possible to pass your spouse and you won't know because the Bible says deep calleth unto the deep. Psalms 4:7.
So if you are not adulterd the aspect of finding a life partner could sometimes be resolved.
Imagine a bottle of coke and two bottles of water.
The two bottles of water represents people that are yet to know themselves as husband and wife.
The bottle of coke stands for or represents adultery.
Now imagine pouring the coke into into the water, bearing in mind what the coke and water represents, when that happens the bottle water suddenly changes colour, now it is either water nor coke, if a bottle of Malt or fanta is poured into it, that becomes Even worst no definite color at all.
When the coke mixed water gets to pass before the clean of pure Bootle water, there is no collision.
But despite the colour of the mixed water, if a another bottle of water could be poured into, it will take time, but yet at the end you will see that the once mixed colour water, will change back to a cleaner water.
Now this is exactly what happens when you adulterate yourself, your spouse could pass without noticing you,that is why most men and women stays long without marrying, but the beautiful thing here is that if you allow yourself to be washed,if you are patient, just like the mixed water changed completely back to its original state that is how you will change if You are patient enough to allow God, there and then will your spouse sees you and the deep will call unto the deep.
And a times the man or lady will say or exclaim or ask how come he or she never saw you since. And the next thing is marriage.
But sadly some of us when God is in the business of flushing your system we feel he is slow and we jump into another bed again and If God so will, he could start the purification all over again and surprisingly it might take years and that is when you will hear people say I have passed the age of marriage.
It is really pathetic but God shall help us flee adultery least we adultered our person.
