Padre Pio, 23 settembre Anniversario della morte.

🇬🇧 Today I visited San Giovanni Rotondo where the death of the Holy Father Pio occurs; venerated all over the world for the good he did when he was alive and above all, according to many believers and religious people, the miracles he does to the people who worship him and all the sick who go to the famous hospital that is in the town . Yesterday evening thousands of faithful went to the church to watch and pray in his honor. The very famous church built by the famous architect Renzo Piano, collects all the relics of the saint, a church built to accommodate the thousands of faithful and devotees especially in Sunday Masses. A truly imposing and spectacular structure where in the basement there is a mini church made all in golden bricks, it looks like a luxurious church as much as it glitters. In this golden church is the relic of the body of the Holy Father, protected by a bullet-proof glass, guards and cameras .. Surely for those who are believers, it is a magical place to visit but on the other hand, San Giovanni Rotondo from the point of financial view, he must thank everyone for the millions of visitors Padre Pio brings. An unimaginable business, from hotels to restaurants, statuettes and even the stuff the Holy Father wore! All this brings millions of euros to the municipality, which will surely send them back to beautify the town. Surely there is a lot of speculation, but you know, where there are faithful, there is business. I leave you some photographs taken by me.

🇮🇹 Oggi sono stato in visita a San Giovanni Rotondo dove ricorre la morte del Santo Padre Pio; venerato in tutto il mondo per il bene che ha fatto da vivo e soprattutto, a detta di molte persone credenti e religiose, dei miracoli che fa alla gente che lo venera e tutti i malati che si recano al famoso ospedale che si trova appunto nella cittadina. Ieri sera migliaia di fedeli si sono recati davanti al chiesa per vegliare e pregare in suo onore. La famosissima chiesa costruita dal famosissimo architetto Renzo Piano, raccoglie tutte le reliquie del santo, una chiesa costruita per accogliere i migliaia di fedeli e devoti soprattutto nelle messe domenicali. Una struttura davvero imponente e spettacolare dove nel sotterraneo si trova una mini chiesa fatta tutta in mattoncini dorati, sembra una chiesa lussuosa per quanto luccica. In questa chiesa d’oro si trova la reliquia del corpo del Santo Padre, protetta da un vetro antiproiettili, guardie e telecamere.. Sicuramente per chi è credente, è un posto magico da visitare ma d’altronde, San Giovanni Rotondo dal punto di vista finanziario, deve ringraziare il tutto per quanti milioni di visitatori porta Padre Pio. Un business inimmaginabile, dagli Hotel ai ristoranti, alle statuette e addirittura alla stoffa che indossava il Santo Padre! Tutto questo, porta milioni di Euro al comune, che sicuramente li rinveste per abbellire la cittadina. Sicuramente c’è molta speculazione, ma si sa, dove ci sono fedeli, c’è business.
