Task 1 reviewIn task 1,you have explained about discrete and continuous variables accurately which were not explained in course along with proper both practical and algebric examples.You have also described two types of expressions well which are fractional and radical expressions along algebric examples but practical examples are missing here.Remaining everything is well-done!
Task 2 reviewIn task 2,you successfully evaluated an algebric expression in which variables values are supposed by you.You truly performed substitute, exponents, multiplication, addition and subtractions with step by step approach but it would be more good to start your explanation that you are applying here PEMDAS rule!Good work!
Task 3 reviewIn task 3,for simplification of expression 3(2x - 1) + 2(x + 4) - 5 you used PEMDAS rule and first you solved parentheses,then started multiplication, addition and subtractions in sequence and good to know that you told us here that you are applying distributive property here.(x^2 + 2x - 3) / (x + 1) when x = 2 expression is evaluated by using PEMDAS rule accurately but there's a some lack in theoratical explanation,2x + 5 = 3(x - 2) + 1 equation is properly solved in which you distributed 3 at right side which is you are following distributive property of multiplication.Overall your task is unique than all other participants task because no one told about using distributive property and you way of explanation is also unique than others so I will give you a plus point due to it in your final score.
Task 4 reviewIn task 4,if I talk about scenerio number 1 then you have truly shown given data and I believe that once you understood given information properly you can solve the task easily as you truly wrote this expression first x + (x + 30) = 250 and then solved it step by step and according to given data you put on your information for equation calculating for daily profit in total which is Total profit = (0.50x) + (0.75(x + 30)) and further after solution you got Total profit = 1.25x + 22.5 so it's a comprehensive explanation by you!Well done.If I talk about scenerio number 2,then you wrote total cost expression which is 2x + 15) + (3x - 2) extracted by given data and then you simplified it step by step that is 5x + 13 you got as a final result! Excellent performance!
