My Questions on Making America Great Again

These are turbulent times across the world. With racial tensions at an all time high since the mid and late 60's, we have to start asking ourselves, what has happened?

With rhetoric that was spilled across the country during the last presidential race, I think it is safe to say we all know where the roots of all this hate has come from. The web has been filled with racial tirades from every race, whit talking down to African Americans and Spanish to African Americans talking down to whites. It is a two way street when it comes to this problem, there isn't one s demographic group to blame. The rhetoric that has spilled from our now president during election time made it seem like it is "OK" to say degrading statements to others. If the leader of the free world can say it, then we can say it. In the long run, it has not made America Great again, It has made America hate again.

One of the most perplex thing that wasn't strongly talked about during the elections was, when was America not great? When did America lose the spirit of being the best country in the world? We have the best tech industry, thanks to help of immigrants of the H1B program. Was it because we had a (half) black president for 8 years and many didn't feel comfortable to go to sleep because he didn't resemble their dad putting them to sleep at night? There are many reasons behind this.

I have noticed as well, the sovereign citizens actions against law enforcement in past years has went down dramatically. Is it because many are now conformable now that there is a person that resembles them in the oval office? So they don't feel the desire to rebel now? What about the issue in Oregon in the winter of 2016 when 25 armed militants lead by Ammon Bundy, took over the headquarters of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Harney County, Oregon in protest of government land occupation leading to the death of one the militants. Why did they do it? Why hasn't this happened before during the presidency of others? Personally, I think in psychological stand point, they want to show that they had control of the country and were not going to go down with out a fight against the current president at the time. Most of these movements have just faded away since the newly elect leader.

During the whole election process with debates and questions flying around to each party, there was one question that was not asked. What Does Make America Great? Is it the people? The laws? The freedom? The innovation? That was a question that should have been asked and wasn't. Because so far, I haven't seen anything great that has happened to us as citizens that puts us in the process of making this country great in the past few months. I will always love my country due to the fact of what I have done for it and continue to do for it. I just think we are seeing our true colors and if this is what makes America great, we have a bigger problem that needs to be solved.

I would like to get your thoughts on this and please let me see it from others stand point.

Cheers
