A new School for Wawa Ontario.

In his later books, Abulafia repeatedly elaborated upon a system of seven paths of interpretation, which he used sometimes in his commentary on the 5 books of the Bible which starts with the plain sense, includes also allegorical interpretation, and culminates in interpretations of the discrete letters, the latter conceived of as the path to prophecy. Abulafia developed a sophisticated theory of language, which assumes that Hebrew represents not so much the language as written or spoken as the principles of all languages, namely the ideal sounds and the combinations between them. Thus, Hebrew as an ideal language encompasses all the other languages. This theory of language might have influenced Dante Alighieri. In his writings Abulafia uses Greek, Latin, Italian, Arabic, Tatar, and Basque words for purpose of gematria.

Abulafia’s Kabbalah inspired a series of writings which can be described as part of his prophetic Kabbalah, namely, as striving to attain extreme forms of mystical experiences. The most important among them are the anonymous Sefer ha-Tzeruf (translated into Latin for Pico), Sefer Ner Elohim, and Sefer Shaarei Tzedek by Rabbi Nathan ben Saadiah Harar, who influenced the Kabbalah of Rabbi Isaac of Acre. The impact of Abulafia is evident in an anonymous epistle attributed to Maimonides; Rabbi Reuven Tzarfati, a kabbalist active in 14th century Italy; Abraham Shalom, Yohanan Alemanno, Judah Albotini, and Joseph ibn Zagyah; Moses Cordovero and Chaim Vital’s influential Shaarei Kedushah; Sabbatai Zevi, Joseph Hamitz, Pinchas Horowitz, and Menahem Mendel of Shklov.

Since I study Kabbala I am amazed from the fact the this is the kind of knowledge you are interested in. Thanks it's wonderful.

I am reading the Zohar, Bahir, Sefer Yetzirah and the Orchard of Pomegranates by Moshe Cordovero. I am very interested in these books and I am trying to learn Aramaic so I can read the oldest copies as they were originally written.

Amazing! There are more and more people from all over the world that study Kabala , and many are not Jewish. If you are so interested in these subjects I would say that you have a very ancient and high soul. Many texts requires a very high spiritual development in order to understand.

I was lucky to stumble upon a very small book called the Essential Kabbalah by Professor Daniel Matt back in the 90’s. Since getting a small taste and a glimpse of the radiance hidden in these books I of have become friends with Professor Matt who has helped me dig deeper into the Zohar and older works of the great teachers from Safed and beyond. The Essential Kabbalah: The Heart of Jewish... by Daniel Chanan Matt https://amzn.to/2qygB1R

I study with rabbi Dr. Lichtman "Kabbala lam"

I became especially interested in the work of Isaac Luria and Chaim Vital when I learned that the father of Chaim Vital once lived near the home town of my great grandfather in Calabria, Italy and that i have distant cousins who are lurie/Luria

This is really very impressive. Thanks for sharing 🙏

I am also very interested in the original Books of Enoch that were written a very long time ago.

In Wawa ???? What do they know about Abraham Abulafia in Wawa ? Isn’t that a Gold Mining town ?

This is a good demonstration of some of Abulafia's basic meditation techniques

Awesome.
