Pokemon and Xbox Kinect were the first mass market, augmented reality simulations. It showed that we can unite the physical and virtual world for entertainment. Do you remember the Terminator and Robocop films where the protagonist can see additional information layered on top of the real world? The Arcona Ecosystem creates a Digital Land uniting the physical and virtual worlds. It is designed for everyday, user interactive experience, with augmented, virtual and mixed reality multimedia content, in real world locations.

Arcona allows you to create projects anywhere in the world, you can create new worlds on your digital land. On that land you can buy, sell, rent and be creative. The limits and opportunities for you own land are huge, you could organise events, meetups, shows, exhibitions, presentations, create games and virtual stores.

The platform is being developed by piligrimxxi, they were the first Russian IT startup operating on the growing international Augmented Reality (AR) market, in the travel industry. "We have given tourists the opportunity to combine real travel and time travel. Using a smartphone and AR headset, travelers can see with their own eyes the vanished architectural wonders of the past and witness historical events in real time and space." It looks like a solid product with huge future potential.
