art is like the unique way we sense our environment channeled out through the skills we have acquired and coloured by our emotional state.
AI may be hooked up to billions of sensors, yet what will be its deepest fears and desires, what will move it to alter the course of OUR emotions?
Will it be allowed to, could we stop it, would it be a reflection of its creators, would it be like a compassionless buddha? Even the masters walked through great suffering before they could appreciate it viscerally.
The two paths - confidence and caring - would they come together in a machine that has no concept of the short and intense gift of mortal flesh?
