Great one! It reminds me a bit the work of Druillet :)

Thank very much @tonyakachick

Thank you so much dear staff of @curie

A interesting work and process - as a "unplugged" artist I am not that well versed with the digital programs out there. I never tried Z-brush but seeing what can be done with it would make me want to try.
As it were, I noodle around in Photoshop and create some digital work, but my studio time is mainly about drawing and painting.
I once tried some program for 3-D (can't remember what it was, lost it on a crashed laptop) but gave up after a while, since I was able to create something much faster and more convincing the old fashioned way. Maybe I didn't try hard enough.
Now here is a thought that strikes me whenever I see such work (and that would be a question as well): can it be cast on a 3-D printer? That would be awesome!

Dear @thermoplastic thank you so much for your long post :)
3d world is not easy..Sometimes some complicated process of 3D modelling and rendering are reminiscent of something esoteric.Anyway is possible to print 99,9999% of any 3d model in many different material..take a look here https://www.dezeen.com/2016/11/29/neri-oxman-design-3d-printed-ancient-death-masks-vespers-collection-stratasys/

That is totally cool, thanks! I know it is difficult, and hard for me to wrap my head around it. Guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but it isn't just that, I am so far backlogged with my unplugged artwork, ideas stacked up and no time to get to them all. But I can appreciate what others are doing in that field, it's just, I need to keep my focus on that which I do best.

Dear @thermoplastic you can take a look at the various tons of tutorial about 3d world on youtube. There also a lots of book for neophyte

The light on the bust really makes this artwork pops nicely. I also like it that you place the sculpture in an environment, it makes it more vivid :D.

Dear staff of @c-squared thank you very much!

love it!

reminds me of armour in some RPG

Like Skyrim!
Thanks @darrenfj for your comment!

Very impressive. Surreal. A glipse, i guess, at what future are will entail. With 3D printing now developing I can only imagine what artist will be able to do in the near future.

It's mind blowing.

For some strange reason I was caught up by the background. How intentional, or how much of it is also part of the central piece? How much work did it take you to design or conceive that backgorund. There are so many nuances, details, textures. It's hard to pay attention to the whole.

The bust itself produces different reactions. It looks evil and benign at the same time. Organic and metalic. Fleshy and bony

Hello and thank you very much for your long post about my artwork dear @hlezama
The complicated background comes from the use of the displacement mapping. You can use a greyscale image to push the details in and out of the original polygon.Take a look here
