In this post you can see the ink illustration of the character Morris that I created for Chapter Forty of @dougkarr's thrilling novel Dwelling. Morris is stood on the tenement rooftop, raindrops are falling on his face.

With the first drops of rain, Morris closed his eyes and drifted as if he was affixed to one of those majestic atmospheric beauties. The cool rain felt surprising on his skin. The raindrops washed away the dried saline on his cheeks from the cremation.

You can find this picture of Morris in Chapter Four of the novel Dwelling. If you have the Artivive app turn to page 286 in Dwelling and you may be able to see raindrops falling on Morris.

The drops turned to a downpour. Morris spread out his arms to take it in. A timpani of sound engulfed him, each drop an intonation in an orchestra of kettledrums. His mouth filled with rain, the drops soothed his scalp.
