I finished my collection of illustrated limericks (in Italian) and published it on Amazon. Here it is.
As I said, it is a collection of original limericks I wrote, in Italian, and illustrated.
A translation in English is not something I can do, because of the rhyme and meter.
Ok, I can try to translate one of my limericks though, so you can see I'm not good at it :)
Una donna giunonica di Doccia
dicevan tutti ch'era troppo chioccia.
Tenea sotto la gonne
bambini, uomini e donne.
La giunonica matrona di Doccia.
A junoesque woman in Grota
was an overprotective mother.
She kept under her skirt
her family and a girt.
That matronly woman in Grota!
Enjoy.
Even without the complete meter of the limerick the illustration says it all, amazing!
