Comic Sans

This series will explore the art of typography and for the third part of my series I will play around with Comic Sans. designed by Vincent Connare and released in 1994 by Microsoft Corporation

Comics Sans are around since Microsoft 95 and the full name of the typeface is called "Comic Sans MS" a lot of people love to hate them but, a study on typefaces and fonts from Princeton University find that our brains retain more information when we read ugly or hard to read fonts. So if you are studying for exams do it in Comic Sans boys.

"On 21 August 2015, a number of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras's Syriza party members split and formed a new party, headed by Member of the Hellenic Parliament Panagiotis Lafazanis. The official document of resignation was allegedly written in Comic Sans"

I only find it proper to use it as a comic font since that is how it is perceived in everyone's conscious, except SYRIZA's as it seems.

So for a font that has taken the title "King of Informality" they are doing pretty well till date. And they will probably continue being the king of informality for a very, very long time.
