I didn't plan to keep sketching today, but I did. I have produced what is, in my opinion, my best work to date.

Lines! Shading! Texture! Detail!

I was so absorbed in this drawing that I almost forgot to pick up my eldest from school.

I switched to the Faber-Castell 3B pencil for this sketch.

I am loving this.
