I planted some garlic last year. Here we can see the baby plants bursting out of the cold ground. Temperatures in the night drop down as low as 25F but the plants manage to live somehow. There is four varieties growing in double rows. Polish, Georgia Crystal, Romanian Red and a local cultivar which I think is a German Red. In each of the rows there is about 25 plants, so a total of about 100 altogether. As I tend to them during the growing season I will continue to update their status in this blog.
