🎂 It's my Baozi-Birthday! 🎂 Celebrating 20 years on Earth in Changde ❤

The occurrence of Wednesday didn't just mark the mid of the ordinary working week (well not here in China...) but also indicated the 20th time I, lil Robert, have experienced the Earth orbiting around the sun in its' eternal dance of love and life.

Now I'm already a fifth of a century roaming around on this beautiful blue planet mixed with nuances of green and grey.

This birthday was dedicated to my favourite Hobby. Eating! So let's head through the different stages of birthday eating Changde has to offer!

1. Early Bird Breakfast

Although first planned to head to the park I used to meet up with my sport club friends to play a round of birthday-foot-badminton, after receiving a message of absence by one of my sport friends because of the ongoing rain, my German fellowmen and me decided to take a walk in the Park next to German Town instead.

Together with Torpedo - Jamie we enjoyed the recovering vibez of nature before turning in to our today's breakfast lady. A breakfast I have already forgotten the name of yet dripping of oil. Delicious!

2. Rita's hyperdimensional Nice Rice

Breakfast makes hungry. After a roadtrip to another nearby park with a newly acquired friend and his Pudel

It was time to put Rita, our new roommate and Ricecooker (no, she's no Chinese girl), to use.

Together with my friends Mr. Handsome, Mr. Black and Ms. Translator we created this wonderful bowl of Nice Rice topped with smashed potatoes and sprinkles of Soy bean paste.

Can you guess which of the Mr.s this is?

3. Baozi!!

Apparently my love for Baozi which fills every cell of my body with energising energy day after day is not able to be overseen by my fellow humans resulting in me being gifted Baozi of two kinds by my beloved co-workers on this somehow special Baozi-Birthday

You can officially call me Mr. Baozi from now on.

4. A vegan vulga suprise

The last thing I'd expect to encounter in China was vegan bakery, not to even mention the possible existence of vegan cake.

Yet there it is! Or better said; was. The recipe for a vegan cake in Changde is 8 cups of awesome co-workers, a lot of love and good connections.

5. Late night BBQ

A day of hard birthday-coffee work is bear celebrated by, right, food!!!

And who doesn't enjoy a proper barbecue?

We ate like kings for 18RMB which are around 3$. Veggie food for the win! Is there any argument for not being vegan?!
