I've drawn some new patterns on my chart to reflect the current market sentiment.
Bitcoin is working it's way back down into the sub 10K range. Each new channel is narrower than the last, showing the weakening confidence of buyers as the whales toy around with them.
Down below in the video spotlight section, I have found a couple good videos today that discuss these current trends with a lot of good insight and explanation.

Article Spotlight:
“Free Money Guy” Matthew Lesko Says Crypto Are Gamble, Scam
The FUD wagon is back on the road, it seems, this time being driven by that guy who used to scam people on television.
Matthew Lesko, self-proclaimed crypto expert has given his obituary not just for Bitcoin, for for Cryptocurrency in general. He claims blockchain experts are implementing the same exaggerations he used in his infomercial scams. If he's talking about bitconnect, then he probably is an expert on that.
Even while 10's of billions of dollars are pouring into the crypto industry each year, a number that is growing exponentially as the distributed ledger technology slowly takes over every corner of the internet, experts like this guy are continuing to declare the whole thing a scam, just like they did with the internet. But like I said in yesterday's post, practicalities don't drive prices when people are afraid, and right now its easy to frighten crypto investors.
I live in Canada, and I suppose someone should inform my government of this, because one department is already using a scam called Ethereum to track and oversee it's spending.
Sarcasm aside, it amazes me how they keep finding these guys. The manufactured FUD is getting so obvious.
I guess he'd be shocked to find out I'm writing a blog post about him on a blockchain-based social media network, and getting paid for it instead of working for free for Mark Zuckerberg and his shareholders.
I shouldn't be so hard on the guy though. Cryptocurrency is a rough market that will eat your face off. Maybe he should be bashing casino's... but he won't because casinos fight back. He's just getting some free publicity for having an opinion on cryptocurrency, and there are millions waiting in line to share their risk-free opinion too.

Tip Jar:
Promotion Bots
Follow this link to see how I track my upvote buying, and how I create the chart below. The data is currently too thin to make any judgement calls, and the way that upvote bots work is explained in this post, meaning this chart should be taken with a very large grain of salt.
I strongly advise to use steembottracker.com when using upvote bots. check the max suggested bid, how long a bot has until it's voting cycle ends, and how many votes have been purchased for that bot by clicking "details." In time you will learn how to read these signs to get a better upvote for your SBD, and even getting it all back to keep promoting your posts.
Recently there was an update being pushed out for upvote bots, and one of the new parameters will involve how much of a bots voting value can be bid on before it returns peoples money. This is a good thing because up until now people could overbid a bot and everyone would get a crappy upvote. This is being changed, and now the chart below will be more relevant than ever, as bots that do not follow the new limitation will find themselves on the bottom of the chart.
*this chart is subject to change over time and only reflects average amount of Steem Dollars that I recuperated from upvote bots I have used. Anything below 0% is a loss.
As I test more upvote bots and learn better strategies the chart will grow and numbers will change. It is not an endorsement for any bot, nor is this an attempt to slander the reputation of any upvote bot, as many of them work the same. I only wish to highlight to others the range of value they should expect if they choose to use upvote bot services. Even if you follow the best strategies for using upvote bots, there is some gambling involved.*
Thanks for the info colleague @briggsy. Greetings :)

At this point, I anticipate that the market may grind its way towards the $10000 level where I would expect to see a lot of support. A break above the $ 10,000 resistance is needed for the price to recede in the bullish zone.
