π Every week, I decided to update the different cryptocurrencies I own and would like to ask you which one do you believe in the most in your respective wallet. π
This is the 12th weekly: "What Cryptos do You Own?"
- As I work in finance, Stock Markets polls are very useful for fund managers to understand what investors own because they currently like it and what they do not.
- Usually, in the Stock Market, it is not very good to own a stock that everybody owns; it means that most investors bought it already and therefore, future demand will be low.
- Whereas understanding which one are under owned is very useful in case a positive news is released on the stock. Since a few investors own it, they will rush to buy some and the price will increase significantly.
My current portfolio and reasons why I own these cryptos:
I sold most of coins after this nice rally. I HODL some EOS, Ripple and Steem of course. For the notice, I plan to sell my SBD and not reinvest them as I feel the current price is very attractive at $2.5+
I also think that this price is the result of crypto owners selling their coins and going back to cash or Tether/SBD as they anticipate a correction.
- Ripple (XRP): Signed most of the TOP50 banks and is runned very professionally. It is working with Chinese partners on many projects.
- Steem: If you read this, you know why. I increased my Holdings recently to benefit from the >$1.0 price
- Eosio (EOS): I believe in Dan Larimer; he already developped 2 great projects (Steem and Bitshares) and as the Co-founder of Steemit on @SGTReport said about Dan larimer and its EOS ICO: βThe people who say that there is no product yet, Dan has built 2 of them if they think heβs not gonna build the 3rd one, theyβre crazy. This is the one he always wanted. The other 2 were just helping him get thereβ. EOS is showing some nice upward trend recently. I can see some βWhalesβ are stacking them.
Other Cryptocurrencies that I used to own
Ethereum (ETH): In my opinion, it has been the most exciting project in cryptos so far. This project has been copied or inspire many other hot cryptos (NEO, EOS...). Devon3 gathering brought a lot of visibility on Ethereum's next improvements especially on the scalability issue.
Mysterium (MYST): * The company is developing a Blockchain VPN. As China is trying to implement its Great Internet Wall before 2018, this would block VPN based technology. This project could offer a solution to Chinese and even other people to have more privacy while browsing through the internet.
Stratis (STRAT): Stratis offers full service capabilities for the development, deployment and management of blockchain applications and solutions utilizing C#. *Stratis tries to make it easier for companies, organisations or other entities to develop a blockchain app.
Ethereum Classic (ETC): I think it is undervalued, dapps and other projects are using it as the Ethereum network is getting crowded.
Siacoin (SC): Siacoin is a solution that allow companies to use storage in a decentralize on Siacoin network. βMinersβ are renting their storage capacity. It is 5-10x less expensive than with traditional companies as Amazon Web Services, Google, etcβ¦
Golem (GLM): It is a cryptocurrency allowing you to use the calculating power of the computers connected to its blockchain network. This is useful for companies looking to rent some calculating power for a project, etcβ¦
Augur (REP): I just like the prediction market project. They have a good team of developers and seem to work very hard on this project. And last but not least but they keep you updated on a weekly basis and were at Devcon3 recently.
My Current Leverage
- I am short 1.5x my portfolio to cover it (ETH, BTC and EOS) and benefit from the correction.
- I am not fully invested as I feel we performed very well in the short term.
My Portfolio on November, 22nd
I am long Altcoins and still not interested by BTC
Bitcoin was the first Crypto, butβ¦ I prefer my Altcoins (EOS, XRP, REPβ¦).
Finaly, What crypto should I look into at the moment?

And you, What do YOU own?
Please remember this is my personal opinion and not a financial/investment advice. You need to do your own research to make your own decision. Investing in cryptocurrencies can lead to financial losses.

Very interesting post, congratulations well done!
My portfolio includes:
VERTCOIN (good developement and great community, is similar to Litecoinbut, in comparison, really undervalued. I bought when it was 0,8 dollars and still hold)
BITCOIN CASH in case of flippening, i don't want to be whitout an Hedge. Bought at 500$
MONERO I belive that anonymous coin will be very important as government will try to tax crypto. Bought at 110 $
LITECOIN Efficent and with a gret road map. Bought at about 70$
KOMODO Decentralize crypto environment via atomic swaps and decentralized ICOs seems cool. Bought at about 2.80$
GOLEM sold 20 days ago to buy Bitcoin cash at 550$. I am waiting for the next great bitcoin cash pump to sell and come back to golem. In my opinion Golem has an enormous market potential
No leverage, it is a very very small portfolio.. But it is giving great satisfactions :D :D

Nice portfolio.
I like Golem too but is their solution working? Did they sign some big corporations to work with?

Golem is waiting for golem brass update, that will be probably released in 2018's first quarter. This is why i sold golem for bitcoin cash: there is yet a lot of time to wait for this big price-sensitive news. Actually if i had to sell bitcoin cash to golem, I would probably increase my original stake of at least 20-40%, so i am a bit relaxed..
Probably when brass will be ready, we will see a huge price pump and then a lot of attention for possible partnerships. At the moment golem is a sort of alpha version, brass will bring real usecases for this project.. So wait and see

Wow!! You share your portfollio with everyone and we upvote you and you get a bigger protfollio and you are cashing out on your steem dollars. You think this steem dollar is at it's highest?
In the past some people got rich on penny stocks. Now it looks like you are getting rich on cryptocoins. Keep your wallet safe^^

Exactly ^^.
I am cashing out sbd to buy smaller cryptos.
Not cashing out totally. I just feel it is too high as Steem.
Times change but risk remains.
We WILL have a big crypto winter, just not yet it seems.

Wow! Risky changes to change your portfolio so drastically!
I a curious if you sold your previous holdings at a loss or profit (in BTC terms)? I know from experience changing my portfolio a lot can be a costly matter by itself costing you a couple percent sometimes.
I was tempted to make some changes too, but I couldn't stomach it to be selling my altcoins at their BTC-lowpoints. When I do switch, I prefer to do it when selling them high obviously.
Do you make these drastic changes a lot and is it part of your general trading strategy?

I got into investment part about 3 weeks ago. Before that I just have mined some Zcash on my computer and cloud mined some BTC and LTC.
I invested big money into Lisk because I believe that Java makes it grow big in time :)
Medium amount of money went into EOS (Bought @ 2$) and Stratis (Bought @ 2.5$) which has already grown well. Also bought some NXT just because I want to see how it goes through halving :P
Then little amount went to some smaller ballers which I hope to grow millions in time: AIR, ENJ, HVN, KICK, SISA, SNT, TKR, XEM and ZRK which I haven't even studied alot.
These boys has together grown 35% in just three weeks which Im very happy about :)
