OpenLedger The Main Bitshares Exchange Stops BTSR Support

in bitshares •  7 years ago  (edited)

BTSR was initial token made by OpenLedger (top Bitshares exchange)

Recently we have reviewed the performing of the advertising projects, and we announce the termination of the support of BTSR asset by Openledger DC. Namely - all activities performed by Openledger DC related to the distribution of any assets to the BTSR token holders are no longer available.

BTSR was initially a token for bloggers to get paid for promoting tokens on OL.

The news made a dump since token no longer has use.

This was started long before STEEM so my blog http://fuk.io is still ranked there in top.

TLDR;

BTSR losts its peg/usability it will dump, other than this OpenLedger works fine and has loads of cryptos with STEEM and SBD rocking there. Its a decentralized exchange so worth having account at.

I personally trade there pairs with CNY, EXCL, LTC, DOGE, BTS, OBITS. A lot of cool opportunities on those.

I dobt know why people do that. I mean if you have started a project then why you leaving it. Just because the guy has lots of money and he can do anything. He should have buy back from all stake holders and then stop support for anything.

Openledger will be buying back all the remaining tokens. They are going to place an order on the obits market to buy the remaining BTSR tokens at the current market rate. That order will remain open forever or until all BTSR tokens are exchanged.

I think friend that when you start a project you should end up I do not understand why they leave it in the middle, that's why they have money

DEX is the future :)

I have multiple tickets in with Openledger support over open.steem not being sent to correct wallet. I keep getting told the steem gateway is down.

Not very pleased with open ledger about now. Out close to $650.00

I have multiple tickets in with Openledger support

I'm glad it's not just me...

You might find a post that I recently uploaded helpful. I include a very eye-opening link from @intelliguy detailing how customer support operates.

Btw, I'm optimistic you'll get your refund on the $650; otherwise, this exchange isn't going to help the 'sell' of BTS a whole lot.

Peace.

I sure hope so.
I started using this on the word of @Stan.

117 Open.STEEM is probably small change to him but its a couple weeks of grind for me that I simply don't have the ability to replicate anymore.

ALSO: I still cannot use my regular browser in the site. I have had ticket on for that for over 3 months.
It keeps giving me an init-error page. I can only work from my cell phone browser.
Really discouraged for Bitshares at this point and I was all high in the clouds about them at first.

The time on your computer needs to be 100% up to date. It's a little fact that I found out long ago. Syncing with an internet time clock can help.

Also, try 2 different browsers. Perhaps Chrome may work where Firefox doesn't. Always have the latest browser updated installed.

I trade on Bitshares every day.And it's not easy.No liquidity.Sometimes it's not easy to sell something,no one is buying.Bitshares needs more advertising!

remarkable continue posting next friend @kingscrown

I cant get my AMP out for months.

Also take a look at Crypto Bridge which is another exchange/gateway into the Bitshares DEX that specializes in Alt coins. Definitely worth checking out and has been more reliable than OpenLedger.

True. This needs to be more advertised!!

But still no GRC. I just want to trade my coins in bitshares, it isnt like it is a shit crypto!

I like post

The Stop loss feature is a must-have for any online exchange. Stop loss is a big part of trading, as trading is all about managing risk. SL minimizes the risks in trading.
but decentralized exchange needs to provide all basic functionalities and security to attract investors/traders that's what i think. @kingscrown

Very important informative post

thanks ^^

I am looking for some good blog sites for studying. I was searching over search engines and found your blog site. Well i like your high quality blog site design plus your posting abilities. Keep doing it.

It is very interesting when 2 exchanges/coins decide to stop doing business and 1 comes crashing to the ground. I can understand it though. People want to be the head honcho in the wild crypto world I guess.

Useful info thanks

Interesting move. When I started on bitshares I kept wondering why nobody was mentioning or using btsr, but I guess it was just outperformed before I even read about it.
I also think, like you write, that Obits is more in line with the core product of openledger and is also a bit easier to understand even if the payouts are still really small, even after they went x10 lately.

Great post with valuable information. Information like this is what helps the crypto community stick together and become strong. Thank you @kingscrown and keep up the good work. Upvoted (the best i can lol)

So much to learn about cryptocurrency,
But Great ost @kingscrown

yes you right @kingscrown the blogger club gonna be the club who's gonna move steemit to a greater height , expanding the growth of the community.
BTSR and OBITS all the way , investment is the way even though it takes a lot of risk

OpenLedger works fine and has loads of cryptos with STEEM and SBD rocking there.

Hmmm....I just wrote a post saying OpenLedger is having issues from my perspective. Here's the link:
